Welcome to the GOLFCELTROPHY 2006
2005 was a records’ year
for the Golfceltrophy by the number of players and the
quality of the game. As part of the Interceltic Festival
of Lorient, more than 500 players participated to this
11th edition, played on Ploemeur Océan and
Val Queven’s Golf Courses.
The Golfceltrophy has
welcome 53 teams (including 19 foreign teams) with a
fantastic finish with 26 holes played for the title of
“champion des Nations Celtes” between the team of La
Coruna Golf Club (Galicia, Spain) and the Bretons of
Saint Laurent Golf Club.
Playing 65 on the
Ploemeur Ocan Golf Course, Arnaud BRIEND broke the
course record; but in play off, Frédéric GROSSET GRANGE
won in the professional competition.
210 Amateurs players
participated to the “Golfcelttrophy Challenge”; Anne
sophie LE NALLIO from Val Queven, playing 64 on the
Ploemeur Ocean Golf Course, won the competition.
For the GOLFCELTROPHY
Business challenge, Georges BARBARET, President of the
FFG played with the team of PAYSAN BRETON /COOPAGRI.
The team of LECLERC-QUEVEN, one of our best sponsors,
won this competition.
Look ahead for the Golfceltrophy’s events
for 2006.
1- The “Golfceltrophy
Business Challenge” will take place on Friday June
30th 2006 on Val Queven and Ploemeur-Ocean’s
Golf Courses with 50 teams playing this event.
Note: during this event,
a 3-days Show of Four-Wheel-Drive (4X4), will take
place in Ploemeur Ocean Golf Club.
2- The “Golfceltrophy
VIP Challenge”, a new competion, in collaboration
with the Interceltic Festival mixing beginners and
confirmed players, with many guests of the Festival,
will take place on Monday, July 31st 2006.
3- The “Gofceltrophy
Amateurs Chalenge” on Wenesday, August 2nd
,2006
4- The “12th edition
of Golfceltrophy” on Saturday and Sunday,
August,5th and 6th2006 with the participation of 53
Teams. |
